Set in 6 acres of garden sloping down to our own lake, our two gites which are the old stables are being totally refurbished in 2011/12 and ready for Spring half term 2012. We have a huge 15m by 8m heated pool and loads of garden for playing in. We are in the Charente Maritime, 40 minutes from La Rochelle, 30 minutes from the nearest beach which is good because the Charente Maritime is the second sunniest region in France after the Cote d'Azur. We are surrounded by fields, some sunflowers and some wheat. the gites have their own private gardens and BBQ areas which face South. As we are renovating them at the moment there are only photos however if you have stayed at Windrush or Exmouth House before you will know what our standards are like. They will have fully fitted kitchens, cosy lounges, plenty of dining space both inside and out and modern hi specification bathrooms. We look forward to welcoming you.
